GRANT NELSON
Director: Mining and Commercial Law
Grant is an experienced Mining Lawyer with more than 25 years’ experience in the mining industry across diverse legal disciplines. Grant was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 1994. He specialises in commercial law, intellectual property law, and community relations. He has held various Legal Management positions at both Johannesburg Investment Company Ltd and Anglo American. Grant implemented and managed the Global Intellectual Property Policy and Strategy portfolio for Anglo American. Grant’s other areas of expertise include surface rights, resolution of restitution claims, the securing and protecting of intellectual property rights, commercial risk management, and general litigation.
GERHARD VAN TWISK

Karin is head of our Real Estate practice. She specialises in conveyancing, corporate real estate, due diligence investigations, notarial bonds and other notarial work, sectional title and cluster developments, and the transfer of ownership in properties. Karin also advises on the registration of mortgage bonds and servitudes, township developments, consolidations, subdivisions, and drafting of commercial property agreements.
